SRINAGAR, JULY 6 (KNO) : Governor N.N. Vohra inaugurated Reverse Vending Machine at Amarnathji Yatra Base Camp Baltal during his visit to this Camp today. District Administration Ganderbal and Sonmarg Development Authority has installed two such machines at Baltal and Sonamarg with Coca-

Cola Company’s involvement under its CSR. These Vending machines efficiently shred plastic bottles in fine flakes which not only reduces the volume of plastic but enables its recycling. This initiative shall help in plastic waste disposal, in consonance with the laid down Solid Waste Management Rules 2016.

Governor appreciated the efforts of the District Administration Ganderbal in maintaining high levels of sanitation facilities at the Baltal and Sonamarg.
